The CEI technology is the subject of New Zealand patent application No. 582065 and corresponding patent applications in overseas countries. The company is licensed to manufacture and sell the invention which is the subject of the patent applications. CEI also has a right of sub-license.

The company wishes to see energy savings maximized worldwide. Therefore in addition to protecting the Intellectual Property, associated with the CEI technology, the company is willing to enter into reasonable license arrangements rather than limit the use of the invention.
